An ode to e-waste

An ode to e-waste is a collection of functional ornaments crafted from metals typically found in Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), that aim to showcase the potential of the materials being discarded. A serious issue within e-waste is the disposal of PCBs into landfill due to their complex and expensive recycling requirements.

The metal forms are an approximation of the relative proportional amounts that exist within common circuit boards, as some studies have found Copper for example to be around four times as abundant as a metal like Iron. The corresponding base pieces are created using finely shredded PCB set in a resin, and are intended to juxtapose and accentuate the metals above.
