Cerberus is a smart home device that uses artificial intelligence recognition software to analyse the items on your hob and their temperatures to premeditate fire hazards, allowing the device to alert the user, or in severe cases, automatically switch the hob off. The Cerberus smart device is mounted to the backsplash above the consumers gas or electric stove, and is automatically activated whenever activity is detected on the hob top. Cerberus is designed to disappear into the background during day to day cooking but can demand attention in an emergency.
