A service to increase the opportunities for refugee and student employment, through collaboration and education in oral hygiene. “Many refugees reach significant evident issues with their teeth which employers look unfavourably on.” – Head of refugee charity, The Comfrey Project.
To restore dignity in displaced people, Community Smile builds refugees’ self-confidence by providing free dental care to increase their chances of employment. Additionally, dental students gain practice hours that go towards their dentistry qualification whilst giving back to their community.
