CETO
After the 2018 ‘Beast from the East’, much of the UK potting industry was decimated leaving many fishermen struggling to make ends meet.
Working closely with fishermen and conservation authorities alike, CETO is a two part product designed to alleviate the financial pressure on fishermen caused by lost or broken equipment, whilst simultaneously reducing stress on fish stocks by removing fishing devices that would continue ghost fishing and breaking down into micro-plastics resulting in bio-accumulation.
CETO is comprised of a sonic activated beacon that can lie dormant for over a year attached to the pot and a hand held sonic wand used to activate and assist in recovering the beacon.
