Transitioning in and out of play is an important developmental stage for 3 to 5 years olds. This can be a particularly difficult lesson for children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disability). Timely Tots is a tool that aids this experience, introducing the idea of transitions to children in a way that helps them to feel more comfortable with routine, as it provides a sense of ownership and control for the child while still allowing the parent or carer to have the ability to manage their family’s daily schedule.
