OKO AND KETIL // Oko turns vegetable and paper waste into a usable solid fuel source and the Ketil uses that fuel to boil water.
Oko is rethinking household waste by turning vegetable and paper waste into a solid fuel which can be used around the house in fireplaces, barbecues and stoves.
Oko lives in the kitchen it’s easy to use, just place the food and paper in the Oko and once full 1-2 days later your fuel will be ready. There are benefits to Oko’s fuel as food is saved from landfill stoping the production of methane which is 80 times more harmful to the environment than carbon dioxide it’s also cheaper because the alternative solid fuels are very expensive. Ketil explores possible ways in which we could Oko’s fuel to effectively boil water.
